Dr. Robert Easton
Chairman
Dr Robert Easton is an investor, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is a former partner of a global private equity firm and still actively invests in technology driven, small and start-up businesses. In addition to funding Elgol Fund for Nature and UK conservation, he has philanthropic interests in science, education, music, theatre, sport and sub-Saharan Africa. Robert is a Trustee of Cancer Research UK, a Fellow of the British Heart Foundation and a Trustee of the Young Vic Theatre. As Chair of Elgol Fund for Nature, he sets overall strategy, monitors impact and participates in funding decisions.


Ingrid Easton
Director
Ingrid is a conservation biologist based in Cornwall and has always had a keen interest in the natural world and ecology. She studied Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford and completed a masters in Conservation and Biodiversity at the University of Exeter. Ingrid has varied experiences in the sector, having worked on Asian big cat illegal wildlife trade dynamics, Kenyan savannah ecosystem ecology, Central and Eastern European large carnivore conservation and studied the influences of edge effects in woodland birds across the French Pyrenees. Previous to her current role, she worked as the Ancient Woodland Inventory Officer at the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and ERCCIS. Ingrid currently works part-time as an Assistant Ecologist in Cornwall and as Director at Elgol Fund for Nature. As Director, Ingrid manages operations, and leads grant selection processes and on-going monitoring and communications.

Joash Moosavinia
Website Manager
Joash is a software test engineer from Cornwall and has always had a passion for all things natural. Having completed a degree in Geology at Imperial College London, he switched career paths to pursue his interest in technology and has since worked in software development teams on projects within the medical, agricultural, and environmental industries. As the Website Manager at Elgol Fund For Nature, Joash designs and maintains the website, keeping all content up to date.
